Bac My An Market

A local wet-and-dry market a short walk back from My Khe Beach, Bac My An is where the neighbourhood shops rather than a tourist stop — which is the appeal. The real draw is the street-food stalls clustered around it in the evenings, some of the best-value eating near the beach: grilled seafood, banh xeo, noodles and cheap beer at plastic tables. By day it's produce, fish and household stalls. It's an easy, honest slice of Da Nang life within walking distance of the hotels. Bring cash and an appetite. Free to wander.
