Non Nuoc sits at the southern end of Da Nang’s coastline, below My Khe and directly beside the Marble Mountains. It’s quieter than the main beach strip, dominated by large resort properties, and well-positioned for anyone splitting time between Da Nang and Hoi An. The stone-carving village just inland is one of the few genuinely local industries you can walk into without it feeling staged.

The vibe
Resort territory, but not sterile. Non Nuoc Beach is about 5km of open, relatively uncrowded sand — the resort boundaries mean public stretches are quieter than My Khe. The sea is calm and swimmable from February to August. The Marble Mountains rise directly to the west, so the late-afternoon light hits them well and the view from the beach looking inland is genuinely good — something My Khe doesn’t offer.
The stone-carving village (Làng đá Non Nước) is a five-minute walk from most resorts. Marble workshops line the road, and you can walk through and watch carvers at work. It’s not a performance — it’s an active industry that’s operated here for centuries. You can buy pieces, though shipping large marble items home is its own project.

The Marriott Danang Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency, and InterContinental all have properties on this strip. Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort is the longest-running option — mid-market, family-friendly, with direct beach access and consistently solid reviews. Genuine budget accommodation is scarce; if price is a concern, base yourself at My Khe and do the Marble Mountains as a half-day trip.

The Marble Mountains
Entry to Thuy Son (the main mountain) is ₫40,000; the lift up costs an additional ₫15,000 each way. Worth 2–3 hours: cave pagodas, panoramic views of the coast, and enough narrow passages and staircases that it stays interesting. Go in the morning before the tour buses arrive. Positioning between Da Nang and Hoi An
Non Nuoc’s strongest argument is its geography. It’s the closest Da Nang area to Hoi An — a Grab car to the old town runs ₫150,000–200,000 and takes about 30 minutes. If you’re splitting several days between the two places, staying here makes that back-and-forth straightforward.

A Grab car to Da Nang city centre costs ₫100,000–150,000. To the airport it’s roughly the same distance. Motorbike hire (₫120,000–150,000/day) gives you flexibility for exploring the stretch between Non Nuoc and Hoi An at your own pace — the coastal road is flat and manageable.
