An Bang Beach

The pick of the Hoi An beaches, a few kilometres from the old town and a favourite of the expat crowd who settled here. An Bang is a long stretch of soft sand backed by a run of easy beach bars and seafood shacks where you can grab a sun lounger for the price of a drink. The swimming is good outside the rough winter months, the sunrises are worth the early alarm, and it's more relaxed than the resort strips further north. Rent a bike from town or take a short taxi. Nothing to pay to get on the sand.
