The finest collection of Cham sculpture anywhere in the world, housed in an airy French-colonial building in the city centre. The Champa kingdom ruled central Vietnam for over a thousand years, and this museum holds the best of what survives: sandstone altars, dancing goddesses, elephant-lions and Hindu deities carved with real skill and life. It's compact enough to see properly in an hour or so, and it makes far more sense of the ruins at My Son if you visit before you go. Well curated and rarely crowded. A small entry fee at the gate.
