A rocky headland on the wild northern side of the Son Tra Peninsula, reached by a walk down through the forest from the coast road. Ghenh Bang is where locals come to escape — flat rocks running into clear water, good for a swim and a picnic, with the green peninsula behind and open sea in front. The trail down is unmarked and can be slippery, so decent shoes help and it's not one for a rushed schedule. There are no shops or facilities. For a quiet, slightly adventurous half-day away from the beach umbrellas, it delivers. Free.
