Hanh Coconut

A family-run basket-boat outfit in Hoi An's Cam Thanh coconut village, offering the classic coracle trip through the water palms. You're paddled out in a round bamboo boat by a local guide who throws in the whole routine — spinning the coracle, weaving toys and rings from coconut fronds, and fishing crabs out of the shallows. It's a small, personable operation rather than a conveyor belt, which keeps the experience relaxed. Cheap, easy and good with children. A short bike or scooter ride from the old town gets you there. Tours are paid; book ahead when it's busy.
