My Khe Beach is Da Nang's main city beach — 8 km of mostly white sand running along the eastern edge of the city, backed by the hotel and restaurant strip on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. The beach is lifeguarded in season with a flag safety system, and sun lounger rental runs ₫30,000–50,000 per chair per day. Safe swimming conditions hold roughly February to August; September to December brings rip currents and frequent red flags. Public access is free from multiple entry points along Vo Nguyen Giap. Come early: local swimmers are out from 5 AM, and the sand is cleanest before the main beach crowd arrives.
