Lady Buddha

Lady Buddha is the 67m white statue of the Goddess of Mercy that stands in the grounds of Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula — the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam and a landmark you can pick out from across Da Nang. Up close she's genuinely imposing, facing out to sea to watch over the fishermen, with lotus terraces and temple halls at her feet. The platform gives a clean sweep over the bay, city and beaches. It's a working temple, so cover shoulders and knees. No charge to visit, and it's the highlight of any Son Tra trip.
